Prioritize Plants for Healthy Holiday Cooking

This is the title of an article from one of my favorite newsletters, The Nutrition Source from the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health.
I wanted to share it with all of you in advance of the upcoming holiday season so rather than posting the link on Facebook. I will share the article here on the Leafy Cafe Blog.
The article contains some great and easy recipes, links to more information regarding meat reduction during the holidays as well as everyday! The Nutrition Source is not a vegan publication, but this is OK with me because after 8+ years of promoting plant-based eating, I have come to the conclusion we are all walking our own walk. I no longer focus on "vegan" rather I promote anything which will help people realize meat (animal product) consumption must be reduced in order to promote health ~ human health, the health of the planet, and the health and welfare of animals. Therefore I share The Nutrition Source newsletter with you because it has a similar goal. Eat MORE Plants, JUST Eat Plants or Eat LESS Meat! However you want to say it...
Oh, and I wanted to remind you all that I am still out here, its been a while since my last post!
Check out the links at the bottom which connect to articles about Processed Meat and Cancer, and Legumes and Resistant Starch.
